Myth vs. evidence
Popular claims, rated against the research.
"BPC-157 heals tendon and ligament injuries in humans."
Rat studies report faster tendon healing. Human proof consists of a few small uncontrolled pilot reports.
"Peptides labelled 'research use only' are legal to inject."
The label does not change what the product is. Selling an unapproved drug for human use is illegal regardless of the disclaimer.
"GHK-Cu copper peptide reverses wrinkles."
Lab studies show it can boost collagen production in cells. Clinical proof in skincare is thin.
"CJC-1295 plus ipamorelin is a safe alternative to HGH."
CJC-1295 raises GH and IGF-1 in short volunteer trials. Safety and benefit over time are untested.
"TB-500 has been proven in human trials."
Human trials exist for full-length thymosin beta-4, which is a different molecule from TB-500.
